“Emerging Areas of Cardiac Safety and Collaborative Solutions:  On and Beyond QTc"

We are pleased to announce the next annual meeting of the Cardiac Safety Research Consortium (CSRC) to be held on October 29-30, 2009 at the Marriott Bethesda, Pooks Hill location.

This open think tank forum will convene faculty experts from academia, industry, government and the FDA, to discuss key topics in cardiac safety.  While a more detailed draft agenda will shortly emerge, this year’s meeting will have academic, regulatory, professional society, and industry voices discussing the state of cardiac safety with a particular focus on both QT and Non-QT related cardiac safety topics.

Key “Hot Topics” to be included are: the role of blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmia analysis in cardiac safety assessments, and the emergence of cardiac safety in pediatric trials.

Further information on registration fees, agenda, and faculty will be made available shortly at:  www.cardiac-safety.org
